About this tool

Every clock above shows the real current time in that city, computed from the international time-zone database — including daylight saving wherever it applies today. Open a city's page for the full picture: its UTC offset, whether it is ahead of or behind you, and its time converted against the other cities.

World clocks earn their keep in distributed work — scheduling a call between Tokyo, London and New York is a three-body problem that this page solves at a glance. The times are taken from your device's clock combined with each zone's rules, so they are as accurate as the clock on your own machine.

How to use it

  1. Find the city you need in the grid — times update every second.
  2. Click a city for its full page: offset, date, and how far ahead or behind you it is.

Frequently asked questions

Why do some cities change offset during the year?

Daylight saving time. Most of North America and Europe move clocks forward in spring and back in autumn; the southern hemisphere (Sydney) does the opposite, and some places — Tokyo, Phoenix — never change. This clock applies each city's current rule automatically.

Is this the official time?

It is derived from your device's system clock and the standard time-zone database — accurate to the second on any normally-synced device. For legal or scientific timestamps, use a national time service.

Can I see the time difference to my city?

Yes — open any city's page and it tells you how many hours it is ahead of or behind your local time right now.
