Clefs & notation

Notation glyphs come from Unicode's Musical Symbols block and need a music font (such as Bravura) — without one they can show as empty boxes.

About this tool

From the working notation symbols — quarter and eighth notes, sharps, flats, naturals, rests, repeat signs and the treble and bass clefs — to music emoji for posts and playlists, this page is the copy-paste source for anything music-related: set lists, lesson materials, DJ and producer profiles, and “now playing” posts. One caution: the text symbols (♪ ♩) paste as editable text into documents, while the emoji paste as pictures — and the notation glyphs (𝄞, 𝄽) come from Unicode's Musical Symbols block, which needs a music font; in an app without one they can show as empty boxes.

Every symbol here is a real Unicode character, so it pastes as text — into bios, posts, documents and designs — and stays editable, unlike an image. The grid runs entirely in your browser; clicking a symbol writes it to your clipboard and nothing is uploaded anywhere.

How to use it

  1. Find the symbol you want in the grid.
  2. Click it — it is copied to your clipboard automatically.
  3. Paste it into your post, bio, document or design.

Frequently asked questions

How do I copy a symbol?

Just click it. The symbol is copied to your clipboard and a confirmation appears at the bottom of the screen — then paste with Ctrl+V (or long-press → Paste on mobile).

Will these symbols work on Instagram / TikTok / Discord?

Yes — they are standard Unicode text characters, supported on all modern phones and platforms. A few of the newest or most specialised glyphs (musical notation, block arrows) need a matching font and can show as a box in apps without one.

Why does a symbol look different on my phone?

Coloured emoji-style symbols are drawn by your device's emoji font, so the same character can look slightly different on iPhone vs Android. Text symbols like ♥ or ★ look the same everywhere.
